Honda Motor (HMC) on Friday issued a statement recalling 106,683 model-year 2017-2019 Ridgeline pickup trucks in the U.S. due to a fuel pump issue caused by the sulfuric acid in car-wash detergents.

The company said it will inspect and replace, if needed, the fuel pumps, of these recalled vehicles at no cost. Additionally, Honda will install a free fuel pump cover on all affected vehicles.
