Skip the Salad? Wendy’s Drops Caesars in Wake of E. Coli Concerns With Romaine Lettuce

Caesar salads are off the menu at Wendy’s for the time being as the U.S. Center for Disease Control investigates an outbreak of E. coli infections that might be linked to eating romaine lettuce.

However, two of central Ohio’s major grocery chains—Kroger and Giant Eagle—are keeping the product on their shelves.

No other menu items at Wendy’s are affected, because the chain uses spring mix on most of its sandwiches and other varieties of lettuce
