This workshop will be an in-depth examination of the 2015 edition to ISO 9001. George will provide templates for addressing “new” requirements, as well tips on auditing the Standard and what Certification Bodies should be addressing in your audit.

About the Presenter
George Hummel is a member of ASQ and the Dayton Section. For ASQ, he is a contributor to Ask the Expert. He has presented both for ASQ and the Auditing Division as well as a similar program for the Dayton Section for the 2008 edition. He currently serves on the US Technical Advisory Groups (TAGs) to Technical Committee 176, Quality management and Project Committee 302, Revision of ISO 19011. As a member of the 176 TAG, George has participated in the validation studies for both the 2008 and 2015 editions of ISO 9001. He also serves on the TAG’s Interpretations Committee.
George facilitates the Clark State consortiums for ISO 9001 and AS9100D, where participants can offset most of the cost of transition through State of Ohio funding.
Besides training and coaching, George is a Lead Auditor for American Systems Registrar for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485 and OHSAS 18001.
